Edward Lear was an English artist and illustrator known for his literary nonsense in poetry, prose and especially limericks. This alphabet mug is adapted from a pen and ink drawing by Lear in our collection, which dates back to 1880. Featuring the letter T alongside a little tadpole, it’s finished with a pale green handle.
