The eye-catching, skillfully-made Baw pot mini bag is decorated with playful fringe detailing, and features a cross-body strap for everyday wear. Working with women in Ghana practising traditional weaving techniques, AAKS seek to conserve the provenance of weaving as an art form, creating designs accentuated with the bright exuberant colours of Africa. AAKS work to increase awareness around ethical production and encourage sustainable consumption in fashion; the brand has also launched Weaving for Change, an initiative to create fair and dignified work for refugee artisans in Burkina Faso.
