This sculptural statement necklace is created using recycled magazine paper and bold printed fabric. For centuries, Zulu communities have been known for the art of weaving natural fibres. Mahatsara seek to revitalize these ancestral techniques, applying them to recycled industrial materials while working with organisations concerned with developing and training for employment in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
