Joseph McHugh’s 1967 psychedelic lithograph poster takes inspiration from the mischievous Cheshire Cat from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, including the iconic line as spoken to Alice, “We’re all mad here.” Born in 1939, American artist Joseph McHugh is known for his contribution to the graphic, psychedelic art scene of the 1960s.
