Details
This badge depicts an armour design taken from one of the V&A’s great Elizabethan treasures, a book entitled the Almain Armourer’s Album, produced in the Royal Armoury at Greenwich, London between 1557 and 1587. Showcasing full cavalry armour intended for the ‘Earle of Rutlande’, the design can now be worn on this quirky, stylised enamel badge.
