This exclusive tote bag was produced to accompany The Great Mughals exhibition at V&A South Kensington.
Featuring a floral pattern hand printed on organic cotton using traditional block printing techniques and natural dyes, the piece draws on the design sensibilities of the Mughal era, interpreted by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India.
With inner contrasting lining and a hidden gusset, it's the perfect size and shape to fit the official exhibition book.
From contemporary portraits to jewelled gold vessels and carpets, The Great Mughals book presents for the first time the opulent, internationalist culture of Mughal Hindustan in the age of its greatest emperors: Akbar, Jahangir, and Shah Jahan.

The Great Mughals: Art, Architecture and Opulence
V&A South Kensington celebrates the extraordinary creativity and internationalist culture of the Golden Age of the Mughal Court (c.1560 – 1660) during the reigns of its most famous and influential emperors. This vibrant period saw the diverse traditions of Hindu and Muslim craftspeople in northern India combine with the practise of Iranian masters in the royal workshops, producing a radically new and exquisitely beautiful style of art and design.
