The design of this foldable bag is taken from a 1926 portfolio in the V&A Art Library entitled Kaléidoscope, ornements abstraits: quatre-vingt-sept motifs en vingt planches by French artists Ad. And M.P. Verneuil. The vividly coloured collection contains 87 different designs for textiles.
