The pattern on this shirt is created using hand block printing techniques and natural dyes. Made in Ajrakhpur, India, artisans use 3 to 4 wooden blocks to print fabric stretched across a 20-foot-long table, enabling the artisan to work meticulously across it until each pattern is complete. The fabrics are then washed, sun-dried, cut and sewn into garments. Created by designers Anchita Bhattacharya and Anas Shiekh, the Project 23°N 69°E collection combines contemporary designs with traditional dyeing and printing techniques to create stunning unisex pieces.
