This beautiful pure silk scarf has been printed and sewn in the UK exclusively for the V&A. The scarf features a print adapted from a furnishing fabric designed by F. Gregory Brown for William Foxton in 1922 and held in the V&A archive. Abstract patterns like these undulating arches were among the contemporary designs displayed in the Paris Exhibition of Decorative Arts of 1925.
