Launched in 2001 by Ambar Pariddi Sahai, Mine of Design aims to present Modern India to the world, exploring the nation’s great wealth of aesthetics and craftsmanship. The company’s choice of materials is informed by the belief that certain stones are imbued with the power to heal and uplift the spirit; this collection uses labradorite, coraline, chalcedony, amtheyst and rainbow moonstone.
Mine of Design masterfully combine stylish metal shapes with semi-precious stones. Each of these pretty gold-plated flowers has a glinting pearl at its centre.
