About the designer
Sibilia
The influence of Latin American decorative art and visual culture is evident, though never literal, in the work of Argentinian designer Fernanda Sibilia. Pieces are infused with both mid-century modern and Pre-Columbian inspiration.
Research and experimentation come together in her Buenos Aires studio, where she manipulates bronze, copper and alpaca (a silver-coloured alloy), creating bold colours and textures through patination.
