The enduring spirit of Pierrot, the melancholic clown, is captured in this stylised depiction, embellished with a freshwater pearl and a ruby teardrop. The pendant is made by hand in England using gold-plated brass on a gold filled tightrope chain.
The piece is inspired by Parade, the pioneering cubist ballet first performed by the Ballets Russes in 1917 with set and costume design by Pablo Picasso. The ballet is set on a fairground and follows the story of a travelling circus troupe.

Ruby Jack
Ruby Jack’s jewellery-making practice began as an expression of musical forms, translating sound into visual art. Each piece is handmade from recycled materials in exquisite detail in England, often using a lost wax casting process wherein molten metal is poured into a mould created from a wax model. Ornate textures and gemstone accents elevate Ruby Jack jewellery to create a uniquely dazzling look incorporating an array of influences: vintage cabaret costumes, early clown imagery and Surrealist motifs, including vibrant circus performers.
