Day at the Museum
Vintage paper collage by Sarah Battle
West Yorkshire, 2024
Signed and numbered limited edition of 100.
Sarah's signature technique evolved from a background in printmaking and textile design. She combines a graphic eye for pattern and geometry with quilt-inspired hand-crafted patchworking, to transform discarded vintage papers into whimsical compositions.
The subjects of this exclusive reproduction were sketched during a day's visit to V&A South Kensington, to be assembled later in collage. By layering delightful, surprising details that entice you to look closer, Sarah beautifully captures the magic of a Day at the Museum.
