This beautiful woodblock print from the V&A archive, seen in the Japan: Myths to Manga exhibition, features a detail from a triptych depicting six girls dancing at the Tanabata festival. All dressed in matching, elaborately patterned kimonos, with combs and pins decorated with flowers in their hair and seasonal lanterns hanging above.
