This print is a reproduction of the original watercolour held in the V&A archive by Nicholas Hilliard, the 16th-century artist best known for his miniature court portraits. Perhaps the most famous of English miniatures, this portrait of an immaculately dressed young man captures the finery and detail of his exquisite outfit.
