It takes 45 individual stages to make a single inlaid lacquer object in the traditional style. Here Korean lacquer master Lee Kwang-woong demonstrates the artistry and skill involved in making a fine Korean lacquerware box, inlaid with shell and featuring exquisite decorative motifs.
