One of the world’s most revered costume suppliers and creators, Cosprop was founded by John Bright, an Oscar and BAFTA winning costume designer, collector and philanthropist. In The Costume House, he and co-author, former V&A curator Keith Lodwick, tell the story of the famed house over its six decades, giving an unprecedented first-hand insight into costume design and making.

Join them in conversation with V&A Curator of Film Emily Harris on the publication of this new book, for a look at the history of Cosprop and its enduring influence on costume design and filmmaking throughout the world.

Ticketholders will also have access to the Theatre & Performance Galleries after the talk, where two costumes designed by John Bright from A Room with A View are on display.
