Join us for a day of talks dedicated to Korean photography. This symposium will highlight Korea's vibrant photographic scenes looking back at its histories from the colonial period to the present day. You will hear from curators, publishers and contemporary artists and explore Korean photographs and postcards from the V&A's permanent collection. There will also be a guided tour of the Photography Centre.

Please note that the lunchtime object viewing sessions and guided tours of the Photography Centre have limited availability. Attendees can sign up on the morning of the event.

This event is organised in collaboration with the University of Arizona, and supported by the Korea Arts Management Service, with additional support from the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism – Republic of Korea.

This event will also be hosted virtually, click the booking link in the side bar to reserve an online ticket.
