Makers Book Club - Make, Read, Reflect
Step into the Creative Studio, a self-led creative space, for a space of making, reading and reflection.
Makers Club is a space where visitors are invited to V&A East Museum Creative Studio to explore a seasonal selection of self-led collaborative activities at their own pace. This summer, join us in the Makers Book Club and read through books on art, design, making and creative practice, contribute to a collective weaving piece, or pause to reflect on an idea, memory or conversation sparked during your visit.
Large-scale weaving frames will be gradually growing through contributions from visitors across the season. Alongside the reading space, visitors are invited to leave reflections, sketches or responses on risograph-printed bookmarks, adding them to a shared collective archive of thoughts or taking them away as part of their own creative process.
Makers Book Club offers an informal environment to rest, browse, experiment and connect with creative ideas inside V&A East Museum.
