Katerina Jebb’s images are celebrated for their strange and arresting qualities. Her experimental approach to photography sees her capture her subjects and objects with the use of a digital scanner. Join Katerina in conversation with V&A fashion curator Oriole Cullen as they discuss Jebb's career and latest work, which spotlights a rare 19th century embroidery sampler from the V&A collection. The sampler narrates the incredible hardships of its young female creator, Elizabeth Parker; Jebb’s installation records and re-frames the sampler providing visitors with a larger-than-life representation of the work fitting of the magnitude of its words.

This talk will be held using Zoom, and all ticket holders will receive a link to join live on the morning of the event. If you have not received your link to join by noon on the day of the event, please contact membershipevents@vam.ac.uk.
