Sensory theatre pioneers Oily Cart are creating a new playspace and would love your family to help shape their ideas.

What does a texture sound like? How do colours feel? In the SideWays World there are more than five senses, and the fun begins when you mix them up. Side-by-side(ways), children and grown-ups will explore an accessible, immersive sensory landscape, where everything’s sort of the same… but a little bit more.

These relaxed, self-led play-testing sessions invite families to tune into their senses and each other. There are no right ways to play, just your ways.

The Wednesday sessions are designed for children with additional needs who enjoy a quieter, calmer experience, and their families. There'll be a chance to share your thoughts and ideas at the end of the session.
