Mini Jam with School of Noise
Creative celebrations for families to enjoy live sound and to play and make together.
Join us for a chance to make memories as a family.
This creative event will include opportunities to connect through sensory play, experiment with sound and create something new together.
The event will build on the sensory exploration of the sell-out Mini Play sessions, inspired by objects from our Play gallery and will include opportunities to explore sound making and recording technologies with School of Noise.
Young audiences and their adults will have a chance to explore how sound looks, record on cassette machines, mix sounds with vegetables and create sound scapes with foley.
School of Noise are a team of music and science educators who bring the science and art of sound, noise, and music to audiences of all ages in a fun and accessible way.

- Each event lasts 90 minutes and you are welcome to come and go within that time.
- The morning event from 10:30-12:00 is suggested for Under 2s and their families and the afternoon event from 14:00-15:30 is suggested for Under 5s and their families.
- Everyone coming must have a ticket for this event. £8 per adult, £12 per child.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop. Multiple adults can attend with a child.
- If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
