In celebration of the 300th anniversary of his birth, this display presents a selection of his original furniture designs that have been immortalised in the most influential publication in the history of design, “The Gentleman and Cabinet Maker’s Director”, first published in 1754. Marvel at his creativity, commercial instinct and the enduring appeal of his furniture.
