Researchers from the University of Maryland pop up in our galleries, bringing eight Medieval paintings of the 1615 Ommegang street festival in Brussels to life. This project involves a creative team of performers, artists, historians and technology specialists who are exploring performance through art, and art through performance. These artworks are among the most important in existence for the study of festive culture and street performance history. Talks are taking place at 14.45, 15.45 & 16.45.

Presented by the International Program for Creative Collaboration & Research of the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland in collaboration with the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library and the School of Music.

Each talk will last 20 minutes
