Lunchtime Lectures: Redesigning the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Galleries: New Stories for a celebrated collection photo
In March 2026, The Gilbert Galleries re-opened their doors to a completely re-designed and expanded space. It is also the only space at the V&A south Kensington dedicated to a private collection and what that entails.

The lecture will present key highlights from the collection and their newly designed presentation. It will also share curatorial insights and considerations necessary to successfully address new narratives about craft, history of collections and their legacy.

The lecture will be given by Alice Minter and Jessica Insley, respectively Senior Curator and Curator of the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Collection.
