How We Made It is a talk series which looks at a single work from one artist or artist collective and does a deep dive into how it was made. The series shines a light on the creative process, collaboration, tools, and the problem-solving involved in realising a single project.

Join for a dynamic discussion with Ersin Han Ersin, artist and director at Marshmallow Laser Feast, to explore the studio’s latest work in London, Of the Oak. Showing throughout summer 2025 at Kew Gardens, Of The Oak is an immersive installation celebrating the oak tree as a network of relationships. Through interactive video, multichannel audio, and an online field guide, the artwork invites viewers on a sensory journey across seasons, unveiling the oak’s hidden vibrancy.
