Design Club (11-14)
Work alongside jewellery designer Bernadette Deddens to make friendship bracelets
Work alongside designer Bernadette Deddens to make a kumihimo braclet Design Club is a space just for 11-14 year olds to work alongside designers and makers and learn about creative careers. Expect to get hands on with materials, improve or learn a new skill while making friends! During the workshop you will have access to Young V&A's material library and books about design and materials.
Each participant must be accompanied to the museum and Open Studio by an adult, during the activity, adults are welcome to explore the rest of the museum. If you have a younger sibling there will always be a family activity running alongside in Open Studio. The workshop is free and you can drop-in at anytime, please be prepared to wait a short time if we are full, last entry is at 15.30.
