Painting, whether figurative or abstract, has long been a central way artists explore how we see, interpret and transform the world around us. Led by artists Sae Yeoun Hwang and JEROME, in this workshop you will focus on floral imagery, working through active observation in the V&A Paintings Gallery, selecting an artwork and being guided through a series of experiments that move beyond copying and into your own interpretation. Using pencil, acrylic, ink and oil pastel, you will create a personal piece that reflects both careful looking and your evolving visual language.

There are two workshops on this day:
10:30 - 13:00 for ages 13-17
14:00 - 16:30 for ages 18-26
