This workshop will introduce cinematic VR filmmaking, and the strategies and challenges faced by creators.
You’ll create an imaginative YouTube 360-ready video, by taking the limitations of the medium, and intentionally exploiting them. By the end of the course you’ll understand key concerns in visual composition, and how to either avoid or leverage them. You’ll gain hands-on experience of 360 camerawork, as well as discovering how 360 sound works, and the kinds of technologies involved in VR. Suitable for beginners.
