A Night in with Fabio, Grooverider & DJ Storm
Join us for an evening of personal and professional recollection from three architects of drum & bass music, DJ and production duo Fabio and Grooverider and Metalheadz record label co-founder, DJ Storm
In March 2024 the trio were interviewed for the publication that accompanies V&A East museum’s inaugural exhibition, The Music is Black: A British Story. What they shared about growing up in Britain, finding and navigating their adolescent musical identities and pursuing professional ambitions formed the book’s drum & bass chapter – as well as the genre itself.
Fabio, Grooverider and DJ Storm will return to their published memories for a night of reminiscence and celebration of realised ambitions. Joining them in conversation will be V&A Curator and The Music is Black: A British Story Curator, Jacqueline Springer.
Fabio, Grooverider and DJ Storm will be signing copies of The Music is Black: A British Story Catalogue after the event.
