Delve into the work of Takashi Arai, Marina Caneve, Tom Fecht and Laetitia Vançon with journalist and author Charlotte Jansen.

The Prix Pictet is widely recognised as the world’s leading award for photography and sustainability. It was founded in 2008 by the Pictet Group with the goal of harnessing the power of photography to draw global attention to critical environmental issues. To date, there have been eleven cycles of the award, each with its own theme highlighting a particular facet of sustainability.

An exhibition of work by the award’s twelve shortlisted photographers – Prix Pictet Storm – is on view in the Photography Centre, V&A South Kensington, 26 September to 18 October 2025.

The shortlisted artists’ work constitutes a powerful exploration of the various facets of the theme. It represents a profound engagement with some of the most urgent issues of our times — above all with the environmental and social consequences of the accelerating climate crisis.

The winner of Prix Pictet Storm will be announced at a ceremony at V&A South Kensington on 25 September 2025.
