Join artists Sheida Soleimani and Hoda Afshar, alongside author Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, as they discuss their personal relationships to the political unrest in Iran and present their ongoing responses in support of the Women, Life, Freedom movement. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A, chaired by curator Vali Mahlouji.

This event is held to commemorate Mahsa Amini, the young woman whose violent death sparked Iran’s political uprising in September 2022. It is presented by the V&A’s Parasol Foundation Women in Photography Project and the Middle East section of the V&A’s Asia Department.
