Dr Jacqueline Cockburn is Managing Director of Art and Culture Andalucia running residential courses in Andalucía, Southern Spain in the art and culture of the region. She lectures at the V&A, The Royal Academy, The Art Fund, The London Art History Society and is accredited by The Arts Society. Her specialist field is Spanish Art.

On this art history course you will understand how artists have shaped our world and the way we see it. We will explore how techniques changed after the Industrial Revolution, how literature and music impacted our artists lives and work, how women artists made an increasingly important impact on the art world. Looking at paintings, photographs, woodcuts, lithographs, sculptures, and objects we will explore 200 years of art and the men and women who made it.
