The economics of creativity: navigating the creative economy photo
Rooted in lived experience, this session encourages collective reflection on the economic pressures facing creatives, followed by collaborative problem-solving and resource-sharing to build resilience and mutual aid strategies.

This workshop incorporates a series of audio prompts, voice notes and recorded reflections sourced from East London’s talent, spanning the worlds of art, culture, creativity and community.

Participants will listen, discuss and respond in real time, building a shared map of perspectives and articulating their own navigation of the creative economy within the session and beyond.

This event is for anyone living, working or studying in east London, aged 18+, emerging or established within the creative sector.

As part of the Ideas Exchange series of interactive talks, this event will be documented through film, photography and live artist interpretation.
