This workshop is a hands-on introduction to tatreez, the traditional Palestinian art of embroidery. Learn the history, symbolism, and regional significance of the motifs that have been stitched by Palestinian women for generations.

Learn the basic tatreez stitching technique on Aida fabric, helping you build confidence and rhythm as you create your own small embroidered motif to take home.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners—no prior embroidery experience is needed.  

All materials will be provided, including fabric, threads, needles, embroidery hoops, and pattern guides.
Just bring yourself and an open heart!
