Hearing Futures II

Drawing on the 3D Tune-In and Hearing Aids for Music projects, with partner organisation Reactify, this event will host a series of events and presentations focussing on hearing devices for music listening, looking at the future in terms of technology and practice. You will be able to try out applications such as Musiclarity and the 3D Tune-In Toolkit, interact with the V&A display Tonotopia: Listening Through Cochlear Implants, and talk with developers, academics and industry professionals.

During this 2-hour structured session we will introduce you to the Hearing Aids for Music and the 3D Tune-In projects, and there will be a range of presentations from hearing aids users, clinicians and hearing aids manufacturers on the topic of music listening with hearing aids. There will be Q&A between presentations to encourage discussions between participants, and identify priorities going forward for research and practice in this area.
