Lunchtime Lectures: Making a case for Africa Diaspora Gallery - A Visitor Experience Perspective photo
This talk examines visitor questions about the presence of African art at the V&A, considering the benefits of an Africa Diaspora Gallery.  Originating from the ‘Think Africa Think V&A!’ project, which began in 2021/22 with the objective of highlighting African and Diaspora objects and exploring issues of their representation, this Lunchtime Lecture provides an update on the ongoing developments of the initiative.

Esther Agbettor from the V&A Visitor Experience Team works to engage diverse audiences with the museum’s less well-known collections.
