Past Event

Costume and fashion designer Bob Mackie is known for creating some of the most iconic looks seen on stage, screen, and the red carpet – a number of which feature in the V&A’s DIVA exhibition. His work with many of the entertainment world’s brightest stars – from Tina Turner to Cher, Carol Burnett to Carol Channing – has garnered him numerous awards and honours across his six-decade career, including a retrospective of his work at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1999 which remains one of New York City’s most highly attended exhibitions.

Join him in conversation with film and television costume historian and curator Keith Lodwick for inspiring look at Mackie’s legendary and still flourishing career, exuding timeless glamour in all he does.
