Playfully focused on museum objects, this EYFS session helps children develop communication and language skills, supporting them to share their ideas and gain creative confidence. Inspired by the ‘Sound it out’ alphabetical display in the Play gallery and led by a museum learning facilitator, children will get the chance to interact with museum handling objects, use their creativity to take part in playful making activities and finish with an interactive reading How to be a Lion by Ed Vere. Key curriculum links: Expressive Arts & Design, Communication & Language, Literacy and Understanding the World.
This session has been developed in collaboration with early years creative arts specialist, Anni McTavish.
Each session can accommodate 1 class only (maximum 30 students, maximum 8 teachers/adults).
We have multiple dates and timeslots to choose from. Each session is 45min long.
