Session 3 - The Dark Side of the Moon, Special Guest Nick Mason:
We are celebrating the finale of The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains with three immersive listening sessions featuring two of Pink Floyd’s most acclaimed albums: The Dark Side of the Moon (1973) and Wish You Were Here (1975).

On Saturday 30 September, Classic Album Sundays’ founder and BBC radio broadcaster Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will be joined by three different guests for the three respective sessions: British progressive rock band Anathema (WYWH, 12:00), ambient dub and house pioneers The Orb (DSOTM, 14:00) and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason (DSOTM, 16:30). They will discuss the featured album and Pink Floyd’s influence and ongoing legacy.

Classic Album Sundays provides fans the opportunity to hear music contextually, communally, uninterrupted, and in the best possible sonic detail. After the interviews, Floyd fans are invited to sit back and experience the featured album, in its entirety, via a 5.1 surround sound experience by Sennheiser.

Each session is individually ticketed:

12:00: Classic Album Sundays: Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here in 5.1 with special guests Anathema’s Vincent and Daniel Cavanagh

14:00: Classic Album Sundays: Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon in 5.1 with special guests The Orb’s Alex Paterson and Youth

16:30: Classic Album Sundays: Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon in 5.1 with special guest Nick Mason of Pink Floyd

Please note, attendees will be asked to turn off their phones and to refrain from conversation during the album replay.
