Art of Ukraine (Livestream)

To mark the opening of new display Sacred Treasures from Kyiv, this special evening brings together historians, creative practitioners and cultural voices to explore the richness and diversity of Ukrainian artistic and cultural heritage. Through conversation and reflection, the event will consider why Ukraine's cultural traditions matter, how they continue to inspire contemporary creative practice, and the role they play in shaping our understanding of the past, present and future.

The panel brings together Josephine Burton, Artistic Director of Dash Arts and author of the play The Reckoning, art historian and curator Konstantin Akinsha  and Olesya Khromeychuk, Director of the Ukrainian Institute London.

With additional important authorities on the Art of Ukraine to be announced closer to the event.

This talk will be held on Zoom, and ticket holders will receive a link to view live on the morning of the event. The talk will also be recorded, and available to view for ticketholders after the event.
