Upstart Festival at V&A Dundee
A three-day free creative careers festival open to all and co-designed by V&A Dundee’s Young People’s Collective. Featuring workshops, talks, live events and five new billboard poster commissions across Dundee city centre.

Upstart Festival returns to V&A Dundee from 12–14 November, with this year’s festival shaped around the theme of Transformation. Co-designed and hosted by the Young People’s Collective, the programme will bring together workshops, talks, making and live events exploring creative careers and different ways of building a creative practice.
The whole festival is free and open to all, and people can take part in as much as they like. Alongside the festival, YPC are commissioning five young designers, all recent DJCAD graduates, to create new work for poster sites, billboards and poster drums across Dundee city centre, developed in partnership with BUILD HOLLYWOOD Scotland.
