Guided by expert crafter Christine Leech explore simple embossing techniques to create a stunning copper garland or hanging ornament, adorned with motifs from Morris’s celebrated textile pattern. Suitable for both craft enthusiasts or curious beginners, this workshop will offer a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful fauna and flora designs found within this Victorian masterpiece. You will begin by choosing your Strawberry Thief motifs, Christine will then show you how to prepare your copper sheet and how, using different embossing tools and techniques you can create a variety of marks and textures. To finish she will help turn your piece into a hanging ornament or garland. All materials will be provided. No experience necessary.
