Drip (slang for clothes) Maketh the Man is a spoken word project led by award-winning writer Yomi Ṣode. Over 3 months, 13 young men have explored their personal relationship between clothes, image and identity through poetry, using the V&A’s Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear exhibition and the museum’s vast collections as a starting point.

Join the poets in The Globe for an intimate sharing of poems created during the project, exploring modern manhood and it's relationship to fashion.

This poetry sharing is presented by the V&A Young People's team as part of Great Exhibition Road Festival, taking place across South Kensington 18-19 June 2022. Find out more about the programme here
