Dance Play at Young V&A
Bring the whole family to play, move and express yourselves through dance
Join our Play Champions and dancers from Wee Movers for open workshops that invite you to dance, move and play on our Town Square.
Drop-in dance workshops will run from 13:30 and 14:45 with opportunities to move and play in between.
Wee Movers create open spaces for children of all ages and their grown-ups to explore and connect through dance, and mostly to have fun! They delivery playful and energetic children’s classes in east London and beyond, combining contemporary dance with yoga. The sessions offer a fun introduction to movement where children are encouraged to explore and express themselves in a warm and supportive environment.

All our events are family activities, where adults are required to participate alongside their children.
This activity is part of Young V&A’s Power of Play programme. The Power of Play is a collaborative project to bring quality learning-through-play to children and young people in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The project is funded by the LEGO Foundation and coordinated by the LEGO Group in London. Young V&A is participating in the project alongside the Institute of Imagination, Save the Children and Easy Peasy.
