In Practice: Collar Design photo

Join tutors Alice and Lilia for a pattern-cutter’s guide to the history of collar design, before delving in to draft your own. They will show you step by step how to create collars inspired by historical styles for a modern wardrobe The session will be packed full of technical tips, personal style advice, fabric choices and sewing know-how. You are sure to leave the session full of inspiration and with all the knowledge you need to go ahead and draft and sew your own collars.

The session will be a great accompaniment to the V&A’s free sewing patterns, showing you how to hack them into even more styles.
