In Practice: Skirt Design from A-Line to DIVA with Alice & Co.

In this practical session you will learn how to draft a perfectly-fitting skirt block to your measurements. Inspired by pieces in the V&A collection, including the DIVA exhibition, we will show you how to transform your block into multiple skirt designs. From 19th Century bustles to 1960s minis via 1950s wiggles and circles, we'll unlock all the pattern-cutting secrets you need to know to create the skirts of your dreams.

This session will be held live on Microsoft Teams and will also be recorded. The recording will be emailed to ticket holders after the live event, and will be accessible for 5 days until midnight on Sunday 16 July 2023. Please note: Materials are not included, a list of readily available materials will be sent to you in advance of the session.
