This month we discuss Michael Ondaatje's 2011 novel 'The Cat's Table', following the adventures of an eleven year old boy on his journey aboard a huge ocean liner as it travels from Colombo towards England. Seated at The Cat's Table, the furthest from The Captain's Table, he befriends two other boys, and we join their trip across the sea.
