Lamar Mensah is a non-binary visual artist based in London. Through their practice, Lamar explores themes of memory, nostalgia and identity using a range of mediums including graphite pencil, ballpoint pen and oil paints & pastels. Many of their pieces begin as studies of old family photos and become transformed through the lens of more current inspirations such as nature, most frequently plants, the sky and cloud formations.
