Explore the beauty, rhythm, and symbolism of traditional brushwork, welcoming in the Lunar New Year with artist and calligrapher Ling of Lingsspace. During the workshop you will design and hand-paint your own 2026 spring couplets, crafted with auspicious phrases and blessings written in classical Chinese calligraphy. Learn how to compose meaningful wishes invoking luck, prosperity, and protection for the year ahead, while gaining insight into the cultural significance behind this cherished New Year tradition. Leave with your own personalised couplets, ready to display at home as a symbol of renewal and good fortune.
